Getting to the island is it’s own adventure

Getting to Orcas Island

GET YOURSELF TO THE PNW…

if you’re coming from outside the area, the easiest airports to fly into are Seattle (SEA), Bellingham (BLI) or Paine Field/Everett (PAE). Seattle will have the most flight options, but Bellingham and Paine Field both save a bit of driving.

DRIVING FROM SEATTLE...

Whether you're already living in Seattle or flying in join us, you'll drive north to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal.

1-2+ hours

BOARDING THE FERRY...

Reservations are required to board the ferry. We really can't stress this enough!

A few notes on reservations:

  • Reservations are available starting now. 30% of vehicle is available to reserve. We suggest making reservations by the end of August.

  • 2 weeks before each sailing date at 7AM Pacific, an additional 30% of vehicle space is released for reservation.

  • 2 days before each sailing date at 7AM Pacific, the final 30% of vehicle space is released for reservation.

  • You need a reservation for the Anacortes - Orcas Island route (and a reservation for the ride home). When selecting a reservation, make sure your vehicle selection is under 22 feet and under 7’2” tall (almost all vehicles are less than that height, even our van).

Arrive to the ferry terminal 45-60 minutes before your ferry departure time (yes, even with a reservation you should get there really early).

Trust us, even the wait for the ferry is worth it! Take a walk, look for sea life, get your ferry snacks from the terminal, & get excited to celebrate with us!

Board the ferry and enjoy the ride, it's absolutely beautiful! Keep an eye out for seals, otters & whales!
